We use the Tavily service for live web searches. When you initiate a search, your search query is transmitted to Tavily. Tavily processes this query to deliver relevant search results from the internet.
The use is for the fulfillment of our contractual services (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy of Tavily.
For automated, in-depth online research, we use the technology of GPT Researcher. This service enables us to answer complex questions through aggregated web searches and AI analysis.
Search queries are generated, sent to external search engines (Tavily), and the results are summarized by our AI models (OpenAI). Processing occurs transiently as part of request fulfillment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
When you upload documents (PDF, CSV), they are stored on our servers and processed to make them searchable (vectorization). For this purpose, we use a local vector database (ChromaDB). The contents of the documents are broken down into text chunks and stored as vectors.
This data is stored securely and used exclusively to respond to your inquiries within the scope of the "Deep Dive" functions. The data will remain in the database until you actively delete it. It will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for AI analysis (e.g., transmission of relevant text excerpts to OpenAI as context).
You can delete your uploaded documents at any time via the admin panel. This will also irrevocably remove the associated vector data.
